This is a common query I get from QuickBooks users. Shut down QuickBooks Desktop first. Choose the Computer icon after hitting the Windows Start icon, then Manage settings, then go to Applications and Services. To access it, hit Intuit QuickBooks FCS. Select Manual from the Startup type and then the Apply option should be selected. Select Start and then OK. Upgrades for QuickBooks Desktop are now available for download.
